April 26, 2004: Island Methodist Christian Education News:
The Island United Methodist Christian Education Committee has discussed some ways to do some joint ministries in the future. We looked at our curriculum and discussed the value of all having the same program. Then we would buy one complete curriculum and share the materials and the expense. We also felt it would be nice to have a curriculum that followed the lectionary so that both the children and the adults would be hearing about the same material during worship and Sunday School. We are looking into this for next year’s ordering.
We also thought about how we could do fundraising and mission projects together.
